The 20-year-old takes on Liverpool's John Whitty in the northern final of the event at the Star Snooker Academy in Sheffield.
Victory would then see the current Grimsby District Billiards and Snooker League knockout singles champion play the winner of the southern section on Sunday for the overall title Armani Sunglasses, the winner of which will be invited to the World Amateur Championship later this year.
